When I was a kid... part 1

When I was a kid, I used to like sleeping under heavy things. For some reason, I liked feeling a weight on top of me while I slept. I would regularly take my door off its hinges and lay down under it. Unfortunately, I was still too little to take the door away from the doorway, so my parents would regularly find me in the middle of the hallway, under the door. (I've always been best at taking things apart, not putting them back together.)

This worked well for me until my parents decided to "cure" me of this habit by sending four, large, excited dogs down the hallway. One bloody nose and twenty minutes of being woken up by being simultaneously trampled and licked to death later, I quit using my door as a blanket.
